Cocktail Recipe: Pisco Sour

On my recent trip to Peru, I indulged in plenty a glass of Pisco Sour, a lime-y, refreshing drink made with Pisco - a Peruvian liquor made with grapes, like brandy.

Here is the recipe for this glass of goodness!

Shake and pour into glass. The egg white should make a nice layer of foam.
The bitters are dashed on top of the egg white foam as an aromatic garnish.

Enjoy!!

Fiona, you've been hiding another blog! I was having dinner with HC today and I mentioned making a pisco sour when I got home. He thought I was talking about your recipe, but I hadn't even heard of this blog. I'll try this one out tonight.

As a follow-up, the recipe turned out just like the pisco sours I had in Peru. A little strong, but my girlfriend loved it and she has problems drinking sake.

Great to hear!
I only wished I had brought home more Pisco :(

I also didn't mean to 'hide' this blog, just didn't want to mix the two up ;)
